Okay. I have the form to apply for internship all filled out. Now all I have to do is actually send it.
I resent change.
That being said, I feel like I'm kind of in a rut. I like my rut, it's comfy in here, but Garcia doesn't. She wants us to do something different. Pretty sure going to work for the Agency qualifies as different, even if it does make me kind of twitchy. So I'll be doing that.
Probably. Hopefully.
We'll see.

I went home for the long weekend. It's nice, even if it is a little overwhelming.
There's an awful lot of sports talk going on. I should start watching college football, just so I can keep up....

That's it. Hannah, we're shutting down all contact with the outside world until this blows over. Also, I hate tap water, so whoever did this should be ashamed of making me more neurotic than I already am.
But really. Going dark, people. Before something unfortunate happens or I do something stupid. Like tell the world that I think Brian Wisemann is the bee's knees. Or that I'm irrationally terrified of my sister, the vampire. Cause that would suck.

I think I need sunlight. Which is what happens, when I get roped in to fiddling on the computer and forget to pay attention to important things. Like....the time.
If anyone needs me, I believe I'll be outside, soaking up my recommended daily dose of Vitamin D. Before I start to wilt or something.
Hannah, ignore that burning wire smell. We're out of Febreeze, and I had some issues earlier....

Normally, I have enough trouble meeting guys. I get all twitchy about it. Garcia usually helps. Just not....today.
I was previously unaware that good looking males in coffee shops that are having problems with their laptop are all serial killers, but she's got a thing about them. A bad bad thing. I don't blame her, seeing as how she has extensive experience with this sort of thing. I just don't know how much more paranoid I can get before I pop.
So much for that.

My summer classes are a lot less labor intensive than my fall classes, so I have some extra time to do the things that amuse me.
Such as...I'm very surprised that all of Garcia's old passwords work on this laptop. One of the perks to fiction, I guess? Did anyone else know that the FBI has a watch list for 'dangerous reincarnates'? Yeah, I shouldn't share that.
This is going to keep me entertained for days.

| the fourth gift idea |
[09 May 2010 @ 9:25pm] |
Normally, I'm pretty anal about holidays in general. But this year, I came thisclose to forgetting about mother's day. I was just lucky that the general population's love affair with minor events spreads to this one, so I was able to get an appropriately themed gift and hop the MTN (which I hate, for the record) to Chicago to deliver it in person.
It was a wonderful surprise for my mother, who had no idea I was coming, which is just as much a gift as the cheesy dish garden I bought.
I should be back sometime later tonight. At the moment, I'm preparing to be stuffed with homemade food, since my mom is so so certain that I'm slowly wasting away without anyone to cook for me.

They're completely re-arranging the stock in the nearest grocery store to the dorm. I went in there today, and nearly lost my mind. I don't see why they feel the need to shuffle things around like that. It was fine the way it was!

Will I be cutting my evening class Monday to go watch the Cubs play the Mets?
Yes. Yes I will.
Hannah! Want to go watch a game with me? Also, anyone else in the area is welcome to tag along, if you'd like.

I haven't used this in almost a year. I wandered off because of...well, I'm sure you all know by now what happened.
Anyway. I'm Cassie Honeycutte, the reincarnate of Penelope Garcia. I live in the dorms at Columbia (you met my roommate a few posts back). I don't know what else to say. Um, I'm nineteen, I spend a lot of time on the computer, and there's nothing I hate more than tomatoes.
Sorry I don't have anything more interesting!
